The Vagina Monologues: Performances

Posted on

Evening folks! We at Spectrum Theatre are so happy to announce that we have made back all the money spent on production AND almost $1000 for the White Ribbon Campaign at UVA. Vulvapalooza has been a hit- we have given out dozens of free lanyards as prizes and the concessions are going fast. The first two nights of A Capella blew our minds- the Sil’s and ReMix were fabulous! AVP will have to bring their A game to keep up. (Lucky for us, AVP always brings their A-game. It’s one of their trademarks, along with the dance moves and hotness.)

Here are some pictures from the festivities thus far!

Here are the ladies at tech week, rehearsing away.

Practicing their well deserved bows!

Our lovely director…..

And the beauties in the show.

It may be dark and blurry, but that is the MASSIVE CROWD who came to see the show.

And finally, our lovely business manager (AKA the ticket wench.) Without her, we would have no idea how much money we’ve made so far.

Haven’t seen the show yet? Do not despair! You still have closing night (that’s tomorrow). Sunday evening. Chemistry Auditorium. Vulvapalooza starts at 7:00. Doors open at 7:15. The show starts at 8:00. Tickets are $5.

With mad, crazy, Vagina love in our hearts,

Spectrum Theatre

We are asking if you could help us to help with our mission Monument to Women Veterans

As we bring awareness of the needs of women who are returning back from war.
