Seeking Artistic and Technical Staff!

Interviews to be held from

Monday, January 6th – Wednesday, January 14th

Plot Summary:

Mary Zimmerman’s The Arabian Nights is an adaptation of stories from the ancient text The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. Each night King Shahryar marries, loves, and then kills his bride-until he weds Scheherezade, a clever young woman who delays her death by intriguing the king with tales of laughter, love, lust, and sorrow.  The final scene brings the audience back to modern-day Baghdad as distant air-raid sirens sound. A celebration of the transformative power of storytelling, The Arabian Nights brings a funny, erotic, romantic, enchanted storybook world to life.
